As President of Dudley Land Company, Brent Broussard is responsible for managing and overseeing company business for Dudley and its affiliate companies. He started in the oil and gas industry almost 20 years ago by coincidence after learning about what a landman is through the PLRM program at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. He joined Dudley early in his career as an independent contractor deep in the East Texas piney woods of Nacogdoches. He worked his way up in the company through Dudley’s management training program and eventually settled in Houston. In 2022, he was awarded the Outstanding Landman of the Year award by the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL). Though he can talk your ear off about all things Landman and how to make a project a success, he would rather learn about your family and personal interests. Have a good joke?
